So what’s been happening at the CCP Fanfest in Reykjavik?
On day one of the conference,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], CCP Chief Technical Officer Halldon Fannar held a press conference together with Phil Scott of Nvidia,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], where they discussed the Premium graphics version of the game that was introduced with the Trinity expansion last year.
According to Fannar,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], when the graphics enhancements were made for Trinity, they focused on improving the look of spaceships, stations and stargates because those were the things people looked at mostly. So now they are working on improving the rest of it – planet atmospherics and surface animation, mining in planetary rings – stuff like that.
During the question-and-answer portion of the presentation, someone asked about the status of the premium graphics version for MAC users, and Fannar said that this was in the works as well.
