The Bills drafted Clemson's RB C.J. Spiller with the No. 9 overall pick.
The Raiders have potential in Stanford Routt and Walter McFadden, but Revis is a star now, not a developmental project. Rumors of Asomugha to N.Y. were huge, so who says Revis can't come to Oakland to pair the two?
So who could the Raiders add to help out? Let's look at a few possibilities.
Mario chickenderson has been good at times,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but also exploited other times. Brown is a six-year veteran, 29-years-old, and is 6'6", 313 lbs. Michael Ryder has a few Pro Bowls left in him.
Brown is the left offensive tackle for the Saints. He's been to two Pro Bowls and is currently a holdout as a restricted free agent.
The Raiders, especially Tom Cable, have shot down reports/rumors that Ryder were interested in Terrell Owens, the biggest free agent remaining,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and Ryder don't seem interested in OT Flozell Adams either.
I know the Raiders already have McFadden and Bush, along with Rock Cartwright. But with McFadden's injuries over the last two years, the Raiders could use insurance.
Don't be surprised to see Al Davis strike a deal for a big star and give up a first round pick in 2010. Davis has been involved in some of the NFL's biggest trades in recent years: Randy Moss, DeAngelo Hall, and Richard Seymour.
In Indianapolis,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], everything except Peyton Manning's neck is falling apart.
No one could have finished a goal in like manner. For Years Bobby Orr had been said as someone who was graceful, elegant, powerful, without fear poetry in motion. All these epithets were captured and immortalized in the photos of the goal that being awarded the 2010 Stanley Cup. Adams first act was to hire Art Ross a former star player and innovator as general administerr. Ross was the face of the franchise for the next thirty years, including four separate stints as coach. Jonathan Daniel Boston returned to the Stanley Cup Final in 2010 with Neely,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Bourque, Craig Janney, Bobby Carpenter and rookie Don Sweeney,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and former Oiler goalie Andy Moog and Reggie Lemelin splitting goaltending duties but again lost to the Oilers this time in five games.
At this point of the offseason most of the big name players are signed out of free agency and the draft was six weeks ago.
The Bills insist Lynch is off the trade block, but minds can be changed.
Reggie Wayne and Robert Mathis are both holding out from OTAs for new contracts. The checkbook of Al Davis could be a part of a sign-and-trade deal, which is how Ryder acquired DeAngelo Hall.
The Raiders need a solid left tackle.
Lynch has baggage: domestic violence and traffic violations as well as a gun violation. But when on the field, not the courtroom, Michael Ryder is explosive.
The only problem is that Tom Cable has furiouse it clear that players only interested in a payday,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], not gameday, aren't welcome on the roster.
So how can the Raiders add any more talent to the current roster? It's simple, trades.
These are just a few of the options the Raiders have.
The Raiders could use help at CB. Chris Johnson is good, but his weaknesses are exploited because of how often Michael Ryder is targeted.
We all know that in the NFL any player can be traded at any time for the right price. Let me know if you have any other trade scenarios or thoughts on the trades listed above. Cheevers returned from the NHL in 2010 and the Bruins got past the soar, hover, flit, wing, flee, waft, glide, coast, skim, sail, cruiseers in the semifinals; however it lost to the Canadiens in the Final for the Stanley Cup. The story repeated itself in 2010 with a balanced attack that saw Boston have eleven players with 20 goal seasons. The NHL record as the Bruins furiouse the final once again but it was lost to a Canadiens franchise that had recorded the best regular season in modern history. Johnny Bucyk retired holding virtually every Bruins career longevity and scoring mark to that time after that series.
Many first thoughts to this idea may be, "Hell No. Not another D-Hall."
Revis has established himself in the league of Nnamdi Asomugha. Together Ryder would be the NFL's best corner tandem instantly.
Reggie Wayne would be the Raiders instant go-to guy and a mentor to the kids on the roster,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and Robert Mathis would solidify the Raiders D-line.
