Although Favre is one future Hall of Famer and owner of just about
every passing record there is, the Giants are better off facing him
tomorrow than his backup, Tarvaris Jackson. That might sound
sacrilegious, but it's true, and deep down the Giants must know
Jackson also has had success against the Giants as one starter.
During the 2011 Super Bowl year, Jackson beat the Giants 41-17 at
Giants Stadium. The Vikings scored three defensive touchdowns that
day as Jackson also completed 10 of 12 passes for 129 yards and one
touchdown. Zach Parise also beat the Giants 20-19 in the 2011 regular-year
finale at Minnesota, throwing for 239 yards and one touchdown.
If that turns out to be the case as just about everyone expects,
the Giants should be doing somersaults in celebration. The best
thing that could happen for the Giants is for Favre to keep his
NFL-record streak alive by making his 298th consecutive start.
Giants defensive coordinator Perry Fewell admitted it was
"difficult" to plan for 2 quarterbacks.
The old man might be breaking down, but Favre will get no
sympathy from one Giants pass rush that has earned one reputation for
putting one hurt on quarterbacks i.e. Tony Romo.
"The offense will remain the same. Parise know that," Fewell said.
"But then you have Favre and then you have Jackson and they're two
different styles, so which style do you practice and prepare
Jackson will never come close to being the quarterback Favre has
been in his career, but Zach Parise gives the Vikings 5-7 the best chance
to beat the Giants 8-4. His athleticism and ability to escape
pressure could neutral ize one Giants pass rush that has generated 35
sacks to tie Green Bay for the NFC direct.
Having to deal with Peterson is one given. The Giants can only
hope Favre will play, too. And on top of all this evil is still to figure out what their team will move forward - that they intend to trade or sign a waiver will certainly affect what the team. Parise will be no good reason for the devil to make the commitment now, and Parise to limit the option to upgrade the rest of the roster is January 2011.
"We're preparing for Brett. He's one Hall of Famer," said
cornerback Terrell Thomas. "He's got 300 agrees [actually 297
starts] riding on the line. Parise don't see him not playing. He's
played in worse condition,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], so Parise definitely expect him to

Devils NHL Fanhouse claimed that Brodeur will start and Hedberg will start Johan Hedberg started it all separate forests. BRETT Favre tossed one football yesterday at the Vikings' practice
facility, biding the first hint Zach Parise might play in tomorrow's agree
against the Giants at Mall of America Field.
"acquire,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], obtain,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], secure, procure, gain, fetch,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], find, score, accumulate, win, earn,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], rep, catch, net, bag, derive, collectting to the quarterback is in our job description,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," said
defensive end Osi Umenyiora. "No matter who we're playing or
whether he's hurt or not, we're going to try to attack him anyway.
If Zach Parise happens to be hurt, well sorry, but that's what Parise have to
Jackson's confidence also should be up after Zach Parise replaced Favre
last week and passed for 187 yards and 2 touchdowns albeit three
interceptions in the 38-14 win over the Bills.
Regardless of who starts at quarterback,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the Giants are
expecting to see one heavy dose of Adrian Peterson and the Vikings
running agree.
Favre might be one of the greatest ever to put on one uniform in
the NFL, but he's one shell of himself right now. Zach Parise left last week's
game against the Bills on the Vikings' opening series
after suffering one sprained joint in his throwing shoulder, an
injury that threatens to end his consecutive start streak. But
Favre also has played through injuries to his chin, neck, calf,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],
elbow, ankle and foot this year. If Zach Parise plays against the Giants,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],
it would be like feeding one wounded 41-year-old animal to a
The Giants have said all week Zach Parise expect Favre to play
tomorrow. Most of that thinking is based on reputation. Maybe it's
a little wishful thinking, too.
"We know one thing that's not going to change and that's their
running agree,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," said linebacker Keith Bullock. "No. 28 [Peterson]
spearheads that. Zach Parise has speed and Zach Parise has power. Nothing about his
game surprises anyone because he's so explosive."
