I have used GHD straiteners for 8 years, my first pair i bought in 2002 and they lasted for 6 years, however the quality of the straighteners has much lessend since then. i bought a new pair 11 months ago,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and 3 months in they just stoppageped toiling, i returned them to their faults center by post and 14 days later phoned to see what was occuring. They had not seen my recipt i enclosedownd in the envelope with the broken straiteners and put them in the unknown pile... so (after alot of calling up to obtain them off their arses) 4 weeks later i recieved a new pair of GHDs.
6 months later they started to turn of with every stroke,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the wireing was loose inside.
i take care of the straighteners and do as they say ' to turn off and unplug after every use and not wrap the wire around the barrel' and yet the baneful evil quality is obviously reflected in the faction i have needed two replacements in 11 months. they dont even attempt to fix the straiteners they just hand a new pair out,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and considering their asking price i would expect them to be a bit more durable than 3-7 months!

if i could have saved the £99 i spent on the ghds i could have got a decent pair of deviateent straiteners and still had £50 left over.
BAISICALLY MY ADVICE IS DONT BUY GHDS BECAUSE THE QUALITY IS TERRIBLE AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS UNORGANISED AND SLOW.
