John will sing ‘live’ today

But to ensure that he is in sync with the sur and taal of the songs, the performance will take place at a karaoke event. In fact, the production and music company will also launch a karaoke CD, along with the film’s soundtrack.
However, producer Madhu Mantena says that AR Rahman wasn’t too keen on the idea. “He felt that without the vocals, the music would be misused. He also pointed out that a karaoke CD usually comes out a couple of years after the film’s release. But the tunes are so good that we convinced Rahman,” says Mantena.

And the actor has been rehearsing for this big evening 24x7. “I’m not much of a singer, but karaoke nights are a great way to unwind,” says [link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. “Hopefully, with all the practice, I’ll not be an embarrassment this evening.”
